Denise Di Battista is a self-taught professional artist who works from her coastline studio in South Wales. Denise and her husband are keen walkers and frequently walk on the Gower Peninsula, where she finds plenty of inspiration for her rich and vibrant paintings. “Searching for a subject is easy; I simply need to look around me! There is surely nothing as inspiring as the natural world both in sight or sound, beautiful colours, shapes and textures are everywhere. Add to that birdsong or the sound of the sea and the call to paint is irresistible, what more could an artist ask for!”
