We are now supplying all our framed prints in perspex rather than glass.
Around 1 in 3 of glass fronted orders get smashed in transit. I have recently had a customer who purchased products from us on eBay for whom the original order and three replacements had their glass broken. This despite additional packaging.
Whilst some orders get through OK, this is clearly not acceptable - and can also have health and safety implications for the end customer.
All our sport memorabilia framed items are already made with perspex fronting and we have never had a complaint about this, in the ten years of selling these products.
